Product Review: Earth Baby Organics Shampoo

I recently had the opportunity to review Earth Baby Tiny Bubbles Organic Shampoo.  I was a little leary that it would be as good as what I was currently using on my daughters' hair, which varied from typically baby and kid shampoo to what I use on my hair.  Their hair gets really tangly and sometimes stringy as well.  I didn't have high hopes that this would be any better but thought I'd give it a try.

The company states that the shampoo is a "rich and creamy, tear-free formula that leaves baby’s hair clean and manageable in all weather. Our pH-balanced, organic shampoo has a gentle chamomile, vanilla, honey, and apple blend so there will not be any tears during or after bath time."  Earth Baby products contain "organic and natural ingredients in efficacious combinations to cleanse and protect baby’s skin as purely as possible."  Quality and safety are a top priority for this company.

Reading the label, I noted that unlike most shampoos where water is the top ingredient, water is nearly at the bottom of the list of ingredients in this shampoo.

The shampoo lathers nicely using just a small amount and has a light, pleasant smell.  It rinsed easily and my daughters' hair did not seem near as tangly as it usually is after washing.  But the true test would be how their hair looked when dried.  Wow!  I couldn't believe the difference in just one washing!  Their hair was shiny, full and a lot less tangles!  I was amazed.

So, naturally, I thought I'd like to try it for myself.  But since I have my hair highlighted, I thought it was wise to contact the company first.  Yes, it IS safe for color-treated hair.  It felt wonderful when I used it the next day.  My hair, too, was full and shiny!

Now for the details of Earth Baby Tiny Bubbles Organic Shampoo:

  •  Rich in anti-oxidant Vitamin C

  • Certified Organics Ingredients 90%
  • Natural Origin 95%
  • Naturally cleanses, detangles, shines 100%
  • Preservative free & Paraben free 100%
  • Phthalates &Dyes 0%
  • Sulfates & Amides 0%

The only thing I don't like is the price.  A 6oz. bottle runs $15.  However, if it keeps my girls from screaming when I brush their hair, I think it might be worth it's weight in gold!  Next thing I might try out?  The hair detangler--then I am sure to have "no more tangles" at all.

In addition to baby shampoo, Earth Baby Organics carries an entire line of baby skin and hair care.  So, head on over to their site and check it out!

Earth Baby provided me with a bottle of shampoo to provide an honest and accurate review.  I was not compensated in any way for this review.
