Donate NOW!

I am sure you have heard about the earthquake in Haiti.  What truly amazes me is the difference in response of their citizens verses our citizens after Hurricane Katrina.  Within a day, New Orleans residents were looting.  The news out of Haiti today shows their citizens holding hands and singing and praying.  These peole have nothing (an never really had anything), yet they have it all.  They have love and concern for each other as a collective group.

Let's show them that we are not the people the media showed after Hurricane Katrina.  Let's show them that we have love and generosity.  Please make a donation to help provide aid for these people.

One great place to donate is the American Red Cross.   And they are making it easy for you--simply text "Haiti’ to 90999 and automatically, you will have made a $10 donation that will be applied to your next phone bill.  You can also make a donation by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or visit their website and click the DONATE NOW button to donate to the disaster relief.  Can't get through?  Keep trying!

I am so saddened by this! Thank you for posting a way for people to help. Every little bit counts.
