Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk Review and Giveaway--TWO WINNERS!

With all the postive news in the media about the health benefits of DHA Omega-3, combined with my own personal experiences from increasing my Omega-3's, For those of you who don't know, DHA Omega-3 is an important nutrient that helps support heart, brain and eye health.  It provides a nutritional boost for children's growing minds and bodies.  DHA is also a key structural component of the brain, yet many young children don't get their recommended daily amount of DHA as it is found in a limited number of food sources.

Visit http://www.horizonorganicdha.com/ to learn more about the health benefits of DHA Omega-3!
I was excited to hear about Horizon's Organic Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3.  I liked the added benefits that the milk is organic, low-fat and is fortified with DHA Omega 3, but the big question was how will it taste?

The verdict?  THUMBS UP!  This milk rocks!  I usually don't like chocolate milk because it is too chocolatey (that coming from a chocoholic), and usually end up mixing white milk in.  However, the Horizon milk is not too chocolatey.  It is thick and creamy and really reminds me of a Wendy's frosty in taste.  In fact, I had a glass following dinner as sort of a milkshake like treat!

Horizon Organic® Lowfat Chocolate Milk Plus DHA Omega-3 provides a great-tasting and easy way to add calcium and DHA to your family’s diet and they want you to be able to try it for yourself, too!  Horizon is offering TWO of my readers 4 total coupons (2 coupons for a FREE half gallon of the Horizon Organic lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3 and 2 coupons for $1 off a half gallon of the same milk).

Learned
DHA belongs to a category of healthy fatty acids known as Omega-3's. Found in high concentrations in the tissues of the brain and eye, DHA Omega-3 is thought to help support healthy function in these areas. DHA has also been shown to help support heart health.

"Horizon™ Milk Boxes are specially packaged to retain nutrition and freshness, even without refrigeration."

That's good to know so you can comfortably pack them in lunchboxes or when traveling and not worry about them going bad!

I love that Horizon uses vegetarian DHA to fortify their milk. I once bought tea with DHA and it tasted like fish, it was awful! THANKS!!
