Ocean Complete Review and Giveaway!

Are you an allergy and/or sinus sufferer?  Have you heard about sinus irrigation?  The big thing lately has been with neti pots and how wonderful they are for flusing out the sinuses.  However, the neti pot requires special water and salt and mixing a solution daily.  This is can be time consuming and if you are like me, you may not want the mess and hassle of this, not to mention the space a gallon of distilled water takes up in your bathroom.

In comes Ocean Saline Nasal Care.  Ocean Complete Sinus Irrigation is a 2-in-1 product for help in relieving and soothing nasal and/or sinus cogestion and dryness with one easy-to-use complete product.  It comes with a special nasal saline streaming nozzel for nasal irrigation and a nasal mist applicator for nasal moisturizing.  It is ready to go as is--no mixing required.  Like the neti pot, it provides a natural, positive pressure sinus irrigation without the use of medication.  It can be safely used as often as needed without any harmful drug side effects.  Unlike antihistamines or steroids, OCEAN Complete is drug free!
I was excited to try Ocean Complete Sinus Irrigation myself as I have very bad sinuses and am very sensative to a lot of medications.  I have tried another brand of a similar product in the past which provided me with benefits so I was eager to see how well this product performed.  Holding my head straight, I inserted the tip into my nostril and pressed down for 1-3 seconds while breating in.  This produced a quick stream of saline up my nostril and flushed straight back out.  I was pleasantly surprised that this did not feel bad in the least.  Unlike the other brand and neti pots, I did not have to turn my head to the side and allow the saline flow through one nostril and out the other, which I rarely seemed to be able to get to happen, and would feel gross.  After using Ocean Complete, my nasal passages were much clearer and I could breath easier.  My girls were watching as I did this and I described it as taking a shower for my nose.  They loved that and then were eager to try the Ocean Kids.  Both have been a little stuffy the past week and both agreed to try it.  I was afraid that they would get one squirt and cry and complain, but they both took two squirts in each nostril and didn't complain.  It seemed to loosen up their congestion and after they blew their nose, they no longer sounded stuffy!

Ocean makes a complete line of products besides the Complete Sinus Irrigation, including Ocean Premium Saline Nasal Spray Ocean for Kids, Ocean Ultra Sterile Saline Nasal Mist and Ocean Gel.  There products are easily available at Walgreens, Rite Aid, Costco and drugstore.com as well as local pharmacies.  You can read more about Ocean products at their web site, http://www.oceansinusirrigation.com/.  They also have a new Ocean Complete Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/oceancomplete.

I just tried a neti pot for the first time, and I thought it helped considerably. My sinuses and nasal passage felt almost immediately clearer.
