GIVEAWAY--OPERATION BEAUTIFUL!

You are having a down day.  Nothing seems right in your life.  The diet isn't working, the boyfriend isn't working, your job sucks.  You stop in the restroom and as you are washing your hands, you notice a note on the mirror that says, "You don't need a miracle, you are already beautiful!  http://www.operationbeautiful.com/"  A smile lights your face...

Operation Beautiful is a movement that was started by Caitlin Boyle, who went through what a lot of women go through--years of not feeling beautiful, looking in the mirror and seeing only imperfections, and a mind filled with negative self-talk.  One stressful day, while in a public restroom, she felt an urge to "do something positive" and worte "You are beautiful!" and stuck it on the mirror.  By doing that, she felt better as she wondered who would find the message and how it might impact them.  This little note was the begining of something big.  That night, she blogged about the note and called it, "Operation Beautiful" and urged her readers to begin spreading the idea.  This idea took off!

Compiled in the book, Operation Beautiful, are people's experiences with these little sticky notes found in public places.  Stories of women who wrote the notes fill the pages, telling how their escapades improved their attitude.  There are also stories of women who were the recepients of these wonderful messages and how it impacted them.  In between, Boyle narrates with various topics ranging from your own beauty to postitive people, to raising children.  Her writings prompt you to love and accept yourself and to have faith.  She wraps up the book with some wonderful mantras!
This world can be harsh.  Boyle very clearly demonstrates how a kind message can change not only others, but yourself.  If you want to be inspired to make a difference in this world, this is a great read!
