Review: Airwear Lenses

You may remember when I blogged about Airwear eyeglass lenses a while back in this post.  Since then, I have had the opportunity to try out Airwear lenses myself.  I will have to say they are fabulous.  First off, since I have such a small face, it is difficult for me to find frames to fit so I ended up getting frames exactly like the ones I have, but in a different color, and had the Airwear lenses added to them.  I can actually tell that they are lighter than my other glasses.

There are many other features that I love about these lenses:
  • They are virtually unbreakable, providing protection for my eyes.  They are about 12 times stronger than standard plastic lenses.
  • The provide 100% UV protection (I love this because I worry about not wearing sunglasses now that I wear my glasses all the time).
  • They are eco friendly.  One hundred percent of the production waste from Airwear lenses is recycled, greatly reducing the environmental footprint put forth by the manufacturing process.
  • They are compatible with Varilux®, Crizal®, Xperio™, DEFINITY® and Transitions®.
These lenses are great and I love the whole "green" aspect of them.  You can read more about Airwear lenses by visiting their site at

Disclosure:  I received free Airwear lenses in hopes that I would provide an honest review.  This review contains my honest opinions of the lenses.
