My Card Making Challenge

This weekend, I took some time to work on making homemade cards.  Card making can be a quick and easy hobby or an intricate, time-consuming hobby.  It all depends on how much you want to put into making a card.  I love it because even the quick and easy cards look beautiful.  My challenge this weekend was to use scraps and complete unfinished projects in quick and easy cards.  Here are my results:
I started these cards over 4 years ago.  Made a few and never finished the rest.  I didn't have the heart to throw them away, so I finished them this weekend.  Simple, easy stamping with frames.

Punch anyone?  Two of these were made with a simple punch from scraps of old paper.  Notice on the top one that I ran out of the green scraps (and didn't want to cut an entire sheet for a few little squares) so I improvised.  I think it turned out cute anyway!  The bottom right was a leftover stamped flower that I didn't throw away. I used a piece of corrugate cardboard I saved from a package and tied with a scrap of twine.

I love the poppies.  This was scrapbook paper that I stamped and added a piece of red raffia bow that was recycled from a gift wrap.
Simple, easy.  Beautiful paper framed on white, then black.  Cut, tape, done.

The center flower in pink was leftovers from experimenting with my Cricut.  I added the tan scrap paper behind and placed on pretty printed paper and attached to a card.  Done!
