Review: Nooski Mouse Trap
Our house backs up to a wooded creek bed. The luxury of having such a private, beautiful lot has one downfall...rodents. Unfortunately, some of these little critters have caused us trouble over the years. Namely, mice. Some how, they manage to get in our house through the basement and one time, even worked their way upstairs. We have tried various products, but have had the most success with the old standard mouse trap. However, with that comes fears of snapped fingers. That thought is scary enough for the adult setting the trap, but when you have little ones around, the fear that one of them will find a trap and get their little fingers caught is horrible.
Nooski Mouse Trap system is a safe, clean and easy way to catch and kill mice. This product is a little weird looking. It looks sort like a torpedo. The idea behind it is that you slip a green rubber ring around the clear contraption part, mice enter through the black chamber and the green ring is released and snaps around their necks, killing them. The mouse dies cleanly next to the trap and the trap can be used again and again. No more throwing out the bloody trap with the mouse!
It took me a couple times to figure out how to load the ring and set it up. I got a little confused by one of the pictures on the box, but understanding how it works, I was able to figure out how to set it correctly. Mice love peanut butter so that is what I used for bait and set it out along the wall in the basement storage room. I haven't heard any scurrying about in the walls or seen droppings lately, so at the time, I don't think I have any mice. However, I am very confident if one of these rodents wonders in, I will not have to worry about it for long. From what I have seen, this is the best mouse trap ever! Just the fact that I am willing to set it is incredible! (I always used to designate that task to my husband.)
Designed and made in New Zealand. The Nooski Mouse Trap pack includes one clear trap, black safety tunnel and ten latex rubber rings to catch ten mice and a 100% guarantee. They also make rat traps for my Florida friends! You can read more about Nooski products at http://nooski.com/.
