As I have gotten older, I am more concerned about everything I put in my body, including medicine. I tend to be sensitive to a lot of medicines and have side effects. In addition, the couple times I have given my children some medicines, I ended up throwing them out due to side effects. I received a Boiron Value Pack for review. And it came at the perfect time. My 6-year old had just a tad of a cough, that mainly bothered her at night. You know, the dry, hacky cough. The night before, I heard her up coughing several times and in the morning, she complained about it. Normally, I would not give her anything as I am wary of cough medicines for children. That night, she started to cough and I gave her some Boiron Chestal Honey. I don’t exactly know what all the ingredients are, which is typical when I look at medicine bottles, but I did feel great comfort when there were no side effects listed and figured it was worth a shot. We gave her one teaspoon and didn’t hear from her the rest of the night. In the morning, she said, “Mommy, that medicine you gave me worked.” And guess what? With no side effects!
