The Challenges of Changing Time with a Squirmy Baby #SlipOnHUGGIES

Squirmy babies—we all have seen them.  The ones who are so curious and so busy—too busy to wait for their diaper to be changed.  I know all about them.  I had to grab my girls and practically straddle them to change their diaper.  It was not a pretty site, especially since I am not gymnastically inclined.  Of course, after getting the diaper off, I had to wrestle with them to wipe them down.  But that wasn’t the worst.  The most difficult part was getting the new, clean diaper on.  While trying to get the diaper out of the basket, I might have an escapee.  Or when trying to get squirmy baby situated on the diaper to attach—she would be outta there!  Naked and laughing, of course.  And that is when the games began.  I would run and get baby and try again.  Squirmy baby would escape, grinning all the while.  And the cycle would repeat over and over, leaving me totally exhausted.  Whew—I never knew that changing a baby’s diaper could be so challenging.   And, even though I scoured baby books and parenting magazines, I never found any book or magazine article that even mentioned how to change a squirmy baby’s diaper.  Oh sure, there were articles on the basic diaper changing information, but never any information on the baby that is out of there.  And I am pretty sure there are no special parenting classes on this topic either.

If you have a squirmy baby, you may easily be able to relate.  You know the struggle, the agony that can be felt changing a diaper.  Maybe you just know someone who has a squirmy baby and you thank your lucky stars above that it isn’t your kid.   Wouldn’t it be great if diaper changing could be easier for parents of squirmy babies?  Well, fortunately there is relief for parents of squirmy babies.  Huggies has introduced Little Movers Slip-On diapers.  Just catch, slip on and you are done!  Wow—this is one of those things where you think, now why hasn’t anyone thought of that till now?  I really wish that Huggies had introduced these when my girls were at diaper age (which thankfully, they aren’t anymore).

These great new diapers even feature the Huggies proven Leak Lock System leakage protection.   They have stretchy sides for a comfortable fit but still have tabs for easy removal.  They have absorb—away layers and a long-lasting core to lock in wetness while keeping your baby dry.

So, if you have a squirmer, you might want to check out the new Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers.
