Love is Not Abuse FREE App!

Do you know the signs of teen dating violence?  Unfortunately, many parents do not.  We expect that we will see obvious signs, when in fact, often the signs are not visible or are very subtle.  Teen dating abuse/violence is a very real, and very scary, problem in our country.  What is even more worrisome is that parents are not talking to teens about dating abuse.  And teens need parents to give them information to keep them safe.

The National Network to End Domestic Violence, Break the Cycle, the National Dating Abuse Helpline, loveisrespect.org, and the Joyful Heart Foundation along with Liz Claiborne Inc,, just recently launched the Love is Not Abuse iPhone application.  This is an educational resource for parents that shows the dangers of digital dating abuse and arms parents with information about dating violence and abuse.  You can read more about it HERE.

To get your free app, visit iTunes App Store and search for the LINA (love is not abuse) app.  And make sure you use it.  Your kids really need you to!
