In art class, we used oil pastels to draw pumpkins. I thought the girls did a great job!
Dinner consisted of mummy dogs, which were hot dogs wrapped in strips of crescent rolls to look like mummies. I served them along with a Halloween Cauliflower dish (since this is currently a favorite vegetable in our house). Love that our Kroger is finally carrying more vegetables!
Then, my dear friend came over and spent some time helping me and my husband with our costumes. We decided to go as Danny and Sandy from Grease, but in both cases, our wigs were awful. I ended up not wearing my wig and using my own "wig." This required a lot of curling, teasing, spraying and pinning as my hair is very long, and Sandy's wasn't. Stacey help cut and grease the Danny wig and I think we looked pretty good in the end. Fortunately, my girls costumes didn't require much. Just a bit of make up and they were good to go.
Our light-up Halloween Ghost made from a tomato cage, lights and a sheet!
And here are some pictures of me and my husband. Grease is the word!
Overall, a very fun Halloween. Hope you had a great one too!
