I recently had the opportunity to review It's a Big World, Little Pig, by Kristi Yamaguchi and illustrated by Tim Bowers. Let me tell you, it was a HUGE hit with my girls. The cover immediately got their attention. Who couldn't love the little pig ice skating across the page in a pretty purple and turquoise glittery outfit?
The story line itself is about a little pig with big dreams who doesn't let her fears hold her back. It also addresses cultural differences with a wonderful message that "even though we are all from different parts of the big world, we all smile in the same language!"
This is a great book with positive messages for children ages 4 and up. My nearly 8-year old really enjoyed it, too.
