Product Review: TheraPearl for Pain Relief

I was in a car accident nearly 15 years ago and unfortunately, I am reminded of it daily with pain.  My back, my neck, my hips.  Some days are better than others, but then there are those days.  I don't like to take medications due to side effects and often resort to heat.  The thing is, I hadn't really been able to find a heating pad that works on my neck.

But now I have just what I need--the TheraPearl Neck Wrap.  It wraps and lies around my neck perfectly hitting just the spots I need.

Let me tell you a little more about TheraPearl.  TheraPearl has been designed by a doctor as a drug-free way to relieve pain and inflammation for all sorts of conditions, ranging from muscle strains and sprains, arthritis, swelling from surgery,  allergies and more.  TheraPearl packs are pliable plastic packs filled with little blue pearls and can be used hot or cold.  Think bag of peas.  The thing is, unlike bags or peas or ice packs, TheraPearl doesn't leak.  And, it is more flexible than a bag of peas, getting right at the needed spot.

As I mentioned before, these can be used hot or cold.  Either stick it in the freezer or stick it in the microwave.  The heat lasts for the recommended 20 minutes.  You can get the TheraPearl and a variety of sizes/shapes, including: neck wrap, eye-ssenntial mask, sports wrap, back wrap and contour pack.  They even have a pals for kids!

I also tried the sports pack.  It is small and just the right size for all sorts of things.  My husband has been freezing it and using it on a foot injury.  I have grabbed it to use on bumps/bruises for the kids.

I am really impressed with the TheraPearl.  I love the variety of shapes you can get it in.  It is nice that it doesn't have rough edges and is a really soft plastic.  I am glad that it can be used either hot or cold.  I also like how light weight it is, especially compared to the bean bag types of heating bags.  The neck wrap weighs less than a pound, so it is easy to take with me when I travel and not be weighed down.  This is a product I love and would definitely recommend to anyone needing pain relief!
