Review: Limerick Zoo

I love using fun poetry to engage my children in reading.  I came across Limerick Zoo, which is an alphabet book filled with fun limericks about animals.  This is a great way to get even reluctant readers involved in reading.  Each page begins with the letter of the alphabet and then has a short limerick about an animal that begins with that name.  There is a companion coloring book that goes with it.

The pictures in the book are colorful and fun.  The limericks are short and sweet and fun to read.  As far as the companion coloring book, it is filled with the same pictures, just not in color.  It also contains the limerick on the next page.  However, some of the pictures have a gray background.

This is a cute book with great limericks and definitely a fun way to get children involved in reading.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
