Quick and Easy Asparagus Recipe
I love asparagus! I have been picking it and eating it from my garden this spring. One of my favorite ways to prepare it is so easy and so simple. Start with clean asparagus with the ends snapped off. It is pretty easy to know where to snap--just bend the asparagus toward the bottom and it will snap. Lie the asparagus in a single layer on a large piece of foil. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. Season with fresh ground pepper. Cover with another piece of foil, folding the edges to make a packet. Place the packet on a hot grill for 7-10 minutes. Yum!
You can also make this in the microwave using Ziploc Zip'N Steam Cooking Bags. Simply add the ingredients, zip and microwave.
