#Giveaway: Copy-Kids #DVD--eat fruits and vegetables #rafflecopter

Getting kids to eat their fruits and veggies is sometimes challenging.  If you think about it, kids are constantly exposed to sweets via television advertising and other advertising.  Candy is promoted with cute, fun characters, drawing children's attention.  But our kids are not exposed to advertising that promotes children eating fruits and vegetables.

That is why I accepted an offer to review Copy-Kids Eat Fruits and Vegetables
DVD.  This is a silly fun video designed to encourage children to eat fruits and vegetables.  It is geared towards children ages 6 months to 5 years and is divided into twelve chapters of 6-8 minutes focusing on a fruit of vegetable.  Basically, the video is of young children playing and eating their fruits and vegetables.  The DVD also includes an discussion about healthy eating with renowned pediatrician Dr. Jay Gordon.  It also contains a section of funny outtakes.

I wasn't sure how my daughter, nearly six, would respond to this video.  She seemed a little old for this, however, she and her 8 year old sister had fun watching it.  In fact, when I asked her what she liked about it, she said she enjoyed "watching the kids play with the food."  Don't fret--it won't encourage your children to make big messes--just simple things like pretending to brush teeth.  When I asked her if it made her want to eat fruit and vegetables, her eyes lit up and she got a big smile and said excitedly, "Yes!"  A bit later, I overheard her tell her sister, "I love this video!"  And surprisingly, her 8-year old sister sat through the video and seemed amused by it.  I really think younger kids will just love it!  I really think little ones who watch this will be more encouraged to eat their fruits and vegetables.
