Eleven sweet girls between the ages of five and nine attended and had a blast making beautiful purses, wallets, headbands, and bottle cap necklaces. (Unfortunately, we didn't have time to get to the bracelets.) Every girl got to take home an E-Z Spray Tie Dye Bandana kit and a Mandalas & More Coloring and Artivity Book.
The girls really enjoyed making the purses and wallets. They simply decorated the bags with stickers and it was amazing to see how creative they got, mixing colors and shapes. They spent a surprising amount of time with their creations, too. I thought they would zip through it, but they put some time and effort in designing their own purse.
Here is a sweetie modeling the cute bottle cap necklace she made! It blends in with her top.
The moms had fun assisting their daughters, too!
The headbands were a little difficult because they needed to use glue for ribbons and accessories and the girls didn't have much patience in waiting. We tried taping the ends till they dried, which worked, but I think using a hot glue gun would be best. By this time, were were getting so busy that I didn't have time to photograph, but here are a few photos of their headband creations.
I want to show you the coloring and artivity books all the girls got to take home with them.
