Remembering Today: The Heavens Celebrate While I Weep

My calendar is marked today for Chris' birthday.  (If you are a new reader, you may not know, but my dear friend was tragically murdered this past year.  You can read more about it HERE.)  I have known for weeks it was coming up, but today has arrived.

A bittersweet day.  One that once celebrated the birth of a man who made a difference in this world, now reminds us that he is gone.  He left his mark upon many hearts, including mine.

I am once again stricken with grief and sadness.  

Happy Birthday, Chris!  I know the heavens are celebrating you today.  Until we meet again...
