Review: Torani Syrup Brings Holiday Cheer!

The holiday season is upon us and one of my favorite things is specialty drinks. Having a new flavorful drink really can put you in the holiday spirit.  However, I, as most people I know, don't want all the extra calories that can often come along with these drinks.  That's why I am excited to tell you about Torani Syrups--they even have sugar-free syrups!

Here is a bit of information that I was provided with about Torani:

Since 1925, 3rd generation family-owned Torani has been crafting great tasting flavored syrups that coffeehouses use to make their flavored drinks taste so delicious. With over 120 flavors in Regular and Sugar Free varieties, Torani flavored syrups are perfect for flavored lattes, mochas, coffees, cocoas, Italian sodas, teas, lemonades, cocktails and smoothies. Coffeehouse professionals choose Torani flavors because they are expertly crafted and made with the highest quality ingredients, like natural flavors and pure cane sugar. The Sugar Free flavors have no calories and are sweetened with Splenda. Now, Torani flavored syrups are widely available at retail so you can easily create authentic coffeehouse quality drinks at home.

Torani Syrups are bottled syrups that can be used to flavor coffee, drinks and recipes.  They have numerous flavors (and I mean numerous!).  I tried the Sugar-free Salted Caramel and the Sugar-free Gingerbread syrups.  These syrups are delicious and a little bit goes a long way.  My girls and I had fun adding them to chocolate milkshakes for a fun, holiday flavor.  We also added the Caramel Syrup to warm apple cider to make a delicious Candy Apple drink.  These syrups are also delicious in steamed milk!  A perfect treat on a cold day.  The possibilities of these syrups in recipes are endless.  If you are a coffee drinker, these would be perfect flavors to add!  The Torani website has a great selection of recipes--just choose the syrup and gather ideas!

Here is one of the recipes taken from their website:

Gingerbread Latte

2 Tbsp. Torani Gingerbread Syrup
1 C. milk, foamed
2 shott expresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
Whipped cream to garnish
Gingerbread cookie on the side as a garnish

These products can be purchased online from their website or in stores such as Kroger's, Jungle Jims and the Party Store.
