When my first daughter was born, I knew I wanted to protect her in every way. Latches on cupboards and chemicals placed high. Childproof knobs on doors so she couldn't get out. Medicine out of reach. And latches on TV stands and bookcases. I had read about the risk of those falling and crushing children.
Some people might have thought I was overboard.
I didn't care.
I wanted to avoid the pain and agony this mother went through. Please take the time to read her story here: http://lovelightlaughterandchocolate.blogspot.com/2012/12/be-with-me-just-for-today.html Make sure you have some tissues nearby, you will need them. And when you are done, please make sure your children are safe.
God bless you, Kimberly, and thank you for sharing your story.
