SimpleHuman Vanity Mirror--AMAZING! @Simplehuman

I hate to admit the time I spend looking to see if I have plucked sufficiently.  I am part Italian and have been blessed with a unibrow.  And a few whiskers.  I am constantly checking to see if I have any strays and I think I have them all.  Then I am in the car at a stoplight and glance in the mirror.  OMG!  I look like a hairy ape!  How did I not see those hairs!  I plucked this morning!

But now, thanks to SimpleHuman, I no longer have to be mortified when I am in public.  They have created the ultimate vanity mirror.  I am tickled about so many features.  First off, it magnifies 5 times, which, in itself is good only if there is proper lighting.  Trust me, I have an old one that I quit using because the light on it wasn't good.  But this features an amazing bright light--600 lux which is twice as bright as the leading competitor.  And the color quality simulates natural sunlight, too!  Being an LED light, it will last for years.  In fact, it carries a 5 year warranty!

And then there are the details.  It is large.  The mirror measures about 8 inches across so I can see my entire face at one time.

And here is another feature I love.  The light is chargeable.  I have two outlets in my bathroom.  Between toothbrushes and my hair dryer that doesn't leave me room for anything else.  Not to mention, if I want to place this between the sinks, I would have to have a cord going behind the sink, posing a safety hazard.  Since this is chargeable, I can charge it and remove the cord.

Another neat attribute is that you don't have to turn it on and off.  When I walk up and put my face in the mirror, it senses me and turns on.  When I step back, it turns off.  I worried it would go on and off as I just walked by in the bathroom, but it doesn't.  The sensors are only triggered when you get right up on it.

Now, the SimpleHuman vanity mirror is pricey at $200, but honestly, you get what you pay for.  I would never dream of spending that kind of money on a mirror, but after using it, I can honestly say it is worth every penny!  I would not want to live without this.

Between the light and the magnification, I can see every single little stray so I won't have anymore public surprises!  Seriously, I think this mirror is my new best friend!

Disclosure:  As a Modern Mom Insider, I was provided a mirror for review purposes on the Simplehuman website.  I was not required to blog about this, but did so because I love this product and didn't want to keep it a secret!  This review contains my honest opinions.

Hmm.... a mirror that shows all your features (and flaws). I think I need one that hides everything lol But this mirror does look super handy!

With age you get some of those nice little hairs, sometimes they feel like they are really long, but look in the mirror and I can't find them. This looks like a great idea!
