Entertain Your Kids this Summer with a Game of Gobblet! @BlueOrangeGames #eco #sustainable #games

Looking for a way to keep your kids entertained this summer without their brains turning to mush? Then you may just want to turn them onto Gobblet.  Gobblet is a game of strategy, similar to tic-tac-toe.  Only instead of 3 in a row, you must get 4 in a row.  And your opponent can gobble up your pieces, making it much more challenging than tic-tac-toe.

My family really enjoys this game.  It is easy to learn, but really have to think about your move and your opponents move.  It really develops your critical thinking skills--ever so important in math and in life! It is great for ages 7 to adult (even my husband and I sneak a game in now and then).  Only two players are needed, but sometimes we play as teams.  Games don't take that long to play, either, maybe 10-20 minutes.  I love that the game is in a wooden box which holds all the pieces (also wooden) and then turns into the game board--completely sustainable and very durable!

You can watch it played here:

I can easily see why this game has won the Oppenheim Platinum Award, Parents’ Choice Silver Award and Dr. Toy 10 Best Games.  Check it out at BlueOrangeGames.com.
