Great Creative Construction Toy for Kids! @imaginetoys

Basic Plus-Plus construction set; 600 plastic pieces in red, yellow, orange, blue, green, gray, black, white & brown colors; models pictured
I am always on the lookout for fun, educational toys that stir up creativity in my children.  I am a huge proponent for toys that build cognitive skills,  inspire creativity and are fun.  PLUS PLUS is a new toy that does just that.  Basically, PLUS PLUS are plastic puzzle pieces that interlink to make creations as endless as the mind's imagination.  PLUS PLUS is appealing to both boys and girls, ages 3-12.  They come in various colors and two different sizes.

I received the PLUS PLUS 600 piece Mini Basic.  I wasn't quite sure what to expect and really wasn't even sure my girls would enjoy playing with them.  However, after opening the box, I immediately realized this is something my girls will play with frequently and for years.  The pieces easily interlink and are  slightly pliable.  They are also thick enough that you can not only create mosaics, but multidimensional creations.  With the flexibility that PLUS PLUS offers, you can create structures with both angles and curves that will hold together.

My girls, ages 6 and 9 LOVE these!  I was surprised by what they were able to create with ease.  My six year old exclaimed that they were "so easy to use!"  We have had other building toys that were difficult to put together or to tear apart.  PLUS PLUS are easy to put together as well as tear apart, but hold together for creations.  I really think 3 year olds could have fun with these as well as older kids.  The possibilities of what can be created are endless!  My girls both agreed that they liked playing with them better than Legos.  They felt they are easier to assemble and allow you to do more with them.

Plus-Plus Construction sets
Plus-Plus are like puzzle pieces that fit easily together.
I love PLUS PLUS as well and have fun playing with the girls (as well as their father).  I love the educational aspects of PLUS PLUS.  I feel it increases problem solving/reasoning skills, , sorting and classification skills, organization skills, cooperative play, social skills, creativity and builds spatial perception.  All good things.  And I love them because my kids love them!

You can purchase this wonderful toy from Imagine Toys.  The 600-piece set is only $34.95.

These are really cool! Do they come with patterns? My son likes to have a template to get the ball rolling with toys such as these before he will let his imagination take over =)

I absolutely LOVE these construction toys, especially since my son constructed and deconstructed his bedroom yesterday. I was ready to leave him on the doorstep of some caring old widow who wanted to raise and nurture another child - then I realized that was from a movie we watched together last week. Now I see these toys and know that he has to have them so that I can keep my house in one piece and he can continue to live in it. Awesome find.
