Every Breath You Take, Every Move You Make

Did you know that video surveillance cameras might be used for more than theft prevention?  Some stores are beginning to use them to track your every move.  According to the NY Times, stores like Nordstroms and Family Dollar use surveillance and pings from cell phones and apps to learn all sorts of info about you.  How you walk around the store, how long you look at something before buying it, your gender, what you are looking at and even your mood.  Of course, they do all this to try to tailor your shopping experience and sell to you.  A little creepy, eh?

I always thought I was being watched long before all the surveillance stuff going on. LOL... No, not paranoid. Just knew there was more to it than what they said. Once it became obvious they had to start telling the public or risk a bunch of "violation of privacy" accusations. An-t-who, being a private citizen/consumer/etc. isn't so private any longer.
