Free Guide to North American Birds #birding

Birdwatching is a fun hobby.  Supplies are minimal--all you really need to get started is either a bird feeder and seed or if you want to go into the field, a set of binoculars.

Audubon now as a free online guide to North American Birds to help you identify the birds you see.  The guide covers bird identification and more as well as over 800 species of birds.  You can find the guide at http://birds.audubon.org/birdid.

Happy Birding!

Your cardinal caught my eye. When I moved here to Florida from Ohio I wondered if I would still see my favorite bird. Sure enough, within a few days I spied a pair of them in a cluster of small oak trees in the front yard! I love watching birds in the yard, and now, too, at the beach. Sea birds are awesome!
