Luxurious Warmth for Cold Winter Nights--or How I Survive Winter
I know fall isn't over, but winter has moved in where I live. We had close to an inch of snow today with temps hovering around freezing for the high. If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you probably know I do not like winter AT ALL. Not one single little bit. Cold weather is not my thing. I like to leave the house in the morning without bundling up in a coat and gloves. I like my car to be warm when I get in. I could go on, but I don't want to bore you. However, I have found one thing that has made my life sooooo much better in the winter. And that is a heated mattress pad. Now, before you get turned off, I do like it to be cold when I am sleeping. In fact, if I am hot, I don't sleep well at all. But I definitely don't like getting into a bed with cold sheets.
My husband wasn't to sure of this when I purchased one, but we both ended up loving it. I turn my mattress pad on a bit before I head to bed and when I climb into bed, it is warm and cozy. We both agree that it is very relaxing. Once in bed, we turn it off before we fall asleep.
The heated mattress pad is worth every single penny we paid for it. It is so wonderful and really helps me make it through the winter! I also bought one for both my parents and in-laws last year for Christmas and they love it, too!
Amazon sells the Sunbeam one like mine for just $99! What a deal! (By the way, the Amazon link below is an affiliate link.)
