Herbal Essences Naked shampoo and conditioners first caught my attention by the name. When I read more about it, I discovered that they don't contain heavy residues, dyes or parabens. The first thing I noticed is that the shampoo smells nice--grapefruit and mint--what a nice combination. I also noticed it didn't take a lot of shampoo to lather up my hair. It rinsed super clean, too. I could tell there was no residue left behind. Then I tried the conditioner. While combing it through my hair, I thought "oh no." It felt very silky. I was worried it would be weighed down. However, when I dried my hair, it wasn't weighed down. In fact, my hair felt super soft and still had tons of volume. My hair was also shiny and healthy looking. I didn't try the Volumize Souffle the first time, as historically, products like those really don't work for me and I wanted to get a true feel for the shampoo and conditioner.
But the next time I washed, I decided to give the Volumizing Souffle a try too. I was surprised--it worked! My only complaint is that it is difficult for me to squirt it out of the can and a lot comes out quickly. Maybe you are supposed to use that much but it seems like a lot to me. Anyway, I like it and my hair doesn't feel anymore oily the next day than normal. Which brings me to the dry shampoo. Oh where would I be without dry shampoo? I can tell you...in the shower washing my hair daily. The dry shampoo is great for between washings to absorb that oil. Just spray it on and brush it through your hair.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Herbal Essences Naked Volume collection. In fact, it is the only thing I am using these days.
