Book Review: Let There Be Light by Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Let There Be Light by Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu is simply a retelling of the biblical story of creation.  Paired with the beautiful artwork of Nancy Tillman, this book has a calming, reassuring feel about the beauty of our world and our God.  Children of all ages (0-99+) are certain to fall in love with this beautiful picture book.  My favorite parts are the last page and back cover which add, You are loved and You are part of something truly amazing.  Two beautiful messages that all children can embrace with their hearts.  My only criticisms are that the book does not mention Adam and Eve by name and just says I will make people...  But either way, whether you take the bible literally or believe the story of creation is just that, a story, the book is still lovely.
