Delicious Quick and Easy Family-Friendly Tater Tot Casserole #Recipe

Last week was very busy for me and when I was doing my meal planning for the week, I wasn't feeling very motivated and was also looking for quick and easy recipes.  I found this recipe for Tater Tot Casserole from the Four Ingredient Cookbook.  When I read it, I couldn't decide if it sounded good or gross.  But it only calls for 4 ingredients and is easy to put together so it fit the bill.  Even when I was making it, I shared with my mom the recipe.  She seemed dubious as well and told me to let her know how it turned out.  I figured we could eat cereal if it was gross.  When my husband came in and asked what was for dinner, he gave me one of those looks (you know what I mean) when I told him.  I think he even said something along the lines of "prison food."  I said I was taking a gamble.

We sat down at the table and guess what?  Everyone LOVED it!  My husband commented he had forgotten how much he loved tater tots.

Anyway, I figured you might want to try this quick and easy recipe so here it is:

Tater Tot Casserole

2 pounds extra lean ground beef (I used venison)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 (2 pound ) package frozen tater tots.

Pre-heat oven to 350°.  Pat ground beef in bottom of greased 13x9x2" pan.  Spread soup over the meat and cover with grated cheese.  Top with tater tots.  Bake covered for 45 minute, then uncovered for 15 more minutes.

It says it serves 8-10, but there are 4 of us and we had no leftovers!
