The True Meaning of "Run Like a Girl" #runlikeagirl

I don't throw well.  I am not athletic.  I have been told that I throw like a girl.  It was meant as an insult.  You hear it all the time.  You run like a girl.  You kick like a girl.  Every time someone says that, they are insulting girls and women.  This can cut on girls' self-esteem.  It can make them feel less than boys (or men).  It is a put down.

I saw this wonderful video by Always.  It is called Run Like a Girl.  It depicts what young girls think "run like a girl" means verses women and boys.  It is pretty disheartening.  Watch the video.  And next time, make sure you correctly use the expression "run like a girl" in the future.  Our girls deserve it.

So, after watching the video what can you do like a girl?  Read more at http://www.always.com/en-us/likeagirl.aspx.
