MAKE UP FOR EVER has some exciting new launches for Fall including Artist Shadow, Artist Liner, the 30 Years 30 Colors 30 Artists Palette, and all-new shades of the cult favorite Rouge Artist Intense and Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks.
I tried the Artist Shadow in two shades.  The first is a creamish white--your basic color.  The second is a funky bright pink.  Whoa--what did I get myself into?  I am too old for that!  Okay, I had to try it anyway and let you all know what I thought.  I found the shadows went on smoothly and I loved the way they blended.  I found I had great control over how light or dark I want the look and surprised myself that I could wear such a bold color!  I could make it look very natural or very bold (back in the day I would have loved this look).  The Artist Shadow sells for $21.  Or, if you are a little artsy, you might want the Artist Shadow Palette, made to celebrate the brand's 30th anniversary.  It features a limited edition palette with 30 shadows inspired by 30 artist's journey within the industry.  How fun would it be to have this?

I also tried the Artist Liner.  It is a highly pigmented eye pencil.  It just glides across my eyes.  Unfortunately, my sample was black--a color I never wear.  However, I loved how easy it was to apply and since it comes in 15 hues, I am sure I will find a color that works better for me.

These products are available at (there is one in my JCPenney) and MAKE UP FOR EVER boutiques.
