Tweens Just Want To Have Fun #DisneySide

Disclosure:  I received free products in order to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration.  The opinions expressed here are my own.

Tween girls just want to have fun.  That's why I agreed to host a Disney Side Home Celebration house party.  What could be more fun for a group of giggly girls than Disney?  Now, I know the house party wasn't the real thing, but for as much fun as the girls had, it took a close second place.  The only bad thing about the party was the amount of snow that came the day of the party so not many friends were able to make it.  Can you see my street?  I know it isn't much, but it is enough to keep people in this area home.  :(

But the neighborhood girls came over and they had more fun than they knew what to do with.  The absolute perfect party kit for tweens.  I was even surprised at some of the games they wanted to play (like pin the smile on Mickey).  I haven't heard so many giggles in my life!

We started with nail painting.  We loved the three villainous colors they sent; purple, green and black.  They had a blast getting their nails painted and watched the Disney vacation planning DVD while they dried.  The girls who had been to Disney were sharing all about the rides and shows to the ones who hadn't been yet.  Excitement was in the air as they planned their dream trips!

Look at some of their adorable nails!

After that, we got started with the games.  Puzzle races, word searches, bingo and more!  I was reluctant to even mention Pin the Mouth on Mickey as I feared dreaded groans but I guess Disney brings out the child in all of us because they were eager to play!

Of course, among the other snacks served was the delicious rainbow cake.  Who can resist?

The girls also had fun making cute bracelets with My Image Bracelet Maker.  It was an incredibly fun and easy way for the girls to make bracelets.  Some of the girls decided rather than bracelets (because they don't like to wear) that they would hang these on their backpacks.

Download an easy app to make photos the right size to punch out for the bracelets.

Honestly, this party could have lasted a few more hours, but kids had to go home.  The guests enjoyed a HP Creat Memories You Keep Packs, their bracelets, treats, Cinderella buttons, prizes and more.  Of course, they also left with luggage tags and dreams of going to Disney!
